What removed an excuse?
I used to blame controllers when things went wrong in a game. Then I saw BrolyLegs kicking ass. I no longer blame controllers.
you [consumed] that [stupefied/shocked/confused] you?
Mouth Silence, by Neil Cicierega was such a musical slap to the brain that I had to stop several times and walk away slack-jawed at what I was hearing.
Before that was Sonicwonderland, by Hiromi, and just before that was The Rainbow Goblins, by Masayoshi Takanaka.
What would you want to learn to cook/bake?
I think I’d really like to learn to cook more traditional Mexican food. Italian food is delicious, Korean food is delicious, good ol’ Southern comfort food of many varieties is delicious (I’m looking at you, Louisiana), but truly nothing nourishes my soul like good Mexican food.
What's something you've changed your mind about?
I don’t currently know, but I intend to find out.
What movie do you replace all but one character with Muppets?
Mad Max: Fury Road is a strong choice…
What is an unhinged way you've seen someone eat food?
I once saw someone eat a corn dog with a knife and fork. It nearly enraged me.
If someone stabbed you, would you want to keep the knife?
Absolutely, if that thing enters my body, it is mine. And if it were a knife of other utility (like a kitchen knife or craft knife or something), I would continue to use it in that utility as well.
What holiday do you think should get more attention?
Dia de los Muertos is my answer. I’m glad to see its surge in popularity in the past several years, and I want it to get more. I think it’s important for people to think about death in a comforting way and be more familiar with it, instead of shunting it off into a dark corner to be forgotten about.
