I picked up this album completely unheard except for a taste of "bad flute".

- There’s a surprising amount to listen to here, given how minimal things start and how it doesn’t build to the bombastic heights 2 Mello is capable of.
- It’s tight!

- So, so funky.
- This shit would pop in a relaxed club/lounge or whatever, I dunno.
- The sine-wave synths that form the main riff is so funky, and the way the bass underscores it is so understated-yet-present.

- Ooh, what an impression this makes. It’s so bouncy, yet subdued!

- This feels more like a beginning than an ending.
General Thoughts
- I was so right to pick this one up so quickly.
- The mixing and transitions between each track works so nicely and seamlessly. Because of the way tracks progress, each song’s vibe is different at the end than the beginning, so you’re getting more bang for your buck.
- Having the album name spoken occasionally during the tracks is a really cool atmospheric touch.
